Job summary

Akamai Technologies in Kraków is seeking a Strategy & Operations Analyst II for the Cloud Technology Program Management team. The role focuses on data transformation, standardization, metric development, performance monitoring and actionable insights to support decision‑making.

You will collect and automate headcount and budget data, build dashboards, and collaborate with finance, talent acquisition and leadership to improve data quality and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Collect, consolidate, transform and automate headcount and budget data from multiple systems into standardized, automated formats.
• Drive requirements gathering, user acceptance testing, and automation of dashboards and analytical tools using Tableau, Google Apps Scripts, Gemini, Claude Code, and other platforms.
• Collaborate with finance, hiring managers, and talent acquisition to ensure accurate tracking, maintenance of headcount and cost data, and standardize procedures.
• Identify and investigate anomalies or inconsistencies in headcount or OpEx data, and recommend corrective actions or data-quality improvements.
• Enable easier data intelligence through the automation of OpEx & Headcount reporting.
• Partner with strategy & operations leadership, hiring managers, finance, and talent acquisition to align on reporting goals, analytical needs, and automation.
• Recommend and implement data governance and analytics best practices.

The role supports Data Transformation initiatives, focusing on data standardization, metric development, performance monitoring, and analytical insights that drive decision‑making and organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Proficiency in SQL, Google Sheets, Gemini, Google Apps Scripts, Claude Code, and Tableau.
• Experience using AI tooling to automate data analysis and workflow automation.
• Experience with financial & budget data.
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills with a detail‑oriented mindset.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to create structure and clarity in complex environments.
• Passion for streamlining complex data collection and budget approval processes.
• Excellent communication skills, able to present complex data to non‑technical audiences clearly and effectively.
