Job summary

Stryker Corporation in Poland is seeking an Associate Sourcing Manager to lead strategic sourcing, optimize supplier relationships, and drive cost savings through negotiations and continuous improvement.

You will report to the Director, Sourcing, collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure quality and sustainability, and apply lean or Six Sigma concepts with international suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years in strategic sourcing or commodity management; total 10 years in purchasing, planning, or manufacturing roles.
• Demonstrated contract negotiation and supplier relationship management experience.
• Strong analytical, financial, and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Preferred: experience in regulated industries (medical devices, aerospace, pharmaceuticals).
• Knowledge of ISO13485, FDA QSR, or similar quality standards.
• Lean or Six Sigma methodologies familiarity.
• International sourcing experience with intercultural competencies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to achieve quality, service, and cost objectives.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to drive performance and ensure compliance.
• Negotiate contracts, including supply and quality agreements, to secure favorable terms.
• Conduct supplier and market analyses to identify opportunities for consolidation and cost reduction.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support business objectives, including product transfers.
• Monitor supplier performance through audits, site visits, and metrics to align with goals.
• Drive ethical and sustainable sourcing practices across the supplier base.
