Job summary
Roche is seeking a Functional Portfolio Head - RDT Strategy, Portfolio & Governance to steer a large, global RDT portfolio, translating business priorities into lean technology initiatives. You will establish governance frameworks, drive strategic alignment, and ensure value delivery across functions, reporting to the Head of Strategy and Portfolio Management.
You will lead cross-functional prioritization, manage portfolio risks, and optimize resources while embracing the One Roche philosophy
Qualifications
- 10+ years of leadership experience in global technology and/or consulting organizations.
- At least 5+ years in leadership roles encompassing Portfolio Management.
- Up-to-date knowledge of digital technology trends (AI, Data, Cloud).
- Strong grasp of IT governance, finance, and cost management.
- Experience in Pharmaceutical or BioTech is highly preferred.
- Degree in IT or related knowledge area.
Responsibilities
- Lead governance body for your function and align senior leaders on budget allocation.
- Oversee governance at sub-function level and track benefits realization.
- Identify and manage portfolio risks to minimize delays and overruns.
- Collaborate with Business Operations Leads to ensure data integrity and forecasting.
