Job summary

Trustbridge is a remote Manufacturing Strategy & Supplier Development internship that runs 10–12 weeks with start ASAP. You’ll work with real RFQs, technical drawings, and manufacturing suppliers, bridging customers, internal teams, and factories.

You’ll engage with vendors and grow understanding of processes, tolerances, lead times, and pricing while supporting Asia-market expansion initiatives and cross-border sourcing.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering background (graduate, final-year student, or recent graduate).
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes (CNC machining, fabrication, casting, etc.).
• Comfortable reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Strong spoken and written English (vendor and internal calls are a key part of the role).
• Willingness to take ownership and execute without excessive supervision.

Responsibilities

• Review customer RFQs, technical drawings, and BOMs.
• Identify suitable suppliers based on process capabilities and capacity.
• Speak directly with manufacturers (CNC, sheet metal, fabrication, casting, molding).
• Assess supplier strengths, quality standards, lead times, and pricing.
• Support onboarding and vetting of new manufacturing partners.
