Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Category Specialist to support Global Category Managers in Indirect Sourcing for Professional Services—Software Licenses and Digital & Innovation in Kraków. You will help drive sourcing strategies, manage spend, and collaborate with engineering services suppliers while reporting to the Global Indirect Category Manager in a hybrid Kraków team.

The role demands at least 3+ years in indirect supply chain, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
3+ years indirect supply chain experience; focus on Professional Services categories.
Experience with Professional Services—Software Licenses, Digital and Innovation.
Knowledge of contractual terms and conditions.
Strong strategic decision-making, problem-solving and project leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines with accuracy.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Global Category Managers for Engineering Services—Software Licenses, Digital and Innovation.
Negotiate and report cost savings and rebates.
Monitor and report on expiring contracts.
Lead RFP/RFQ processes, supplier evaluation and negotiations.
Support spend analytics, strategy development and stakeholder engagement.
Assess supply chain risks and market trends to ensure steady supply.
Drive spend through market analysis and negotiations to optimize cost, quality and service.
Deliver annual and multi-year spend goals and strategies.
Track SLAs and KPIs; conduct quarterly business reviews.
Support change management and continuous improvement with suppliers.
Ensure export control compliance and adherence to policies.
