Job summary

Rolls-Royce Kraków Global Capability Centre is seeking a Global Category Manager to shape category strategies, manage supplier relationships, and lead end-to-end sourcing across IT, logistics, and engineering services. You will align with offshore teams to ensure SRM excellence, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.

The role demands 10+ years in strategic procurement, proven RFx leadership, and a track record of delivering cost and value improvements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in strategic procurement or category management within a global organisation.
• Proven track record in developing and executing category strategies and strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Strong experience in leading complex RFx processes and negotiation of high-value contracts.
• Exposure to aerospace/defence sector is desirable and beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement global category strategies aligned with business objectives and risk management across IT, Logistics, Manufacturing & Engineering.
• Lead complex sourcing initiatives, negotiate high-value contracts, and deliver measurable cost savings and value creation.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with suppliers to drive innovation and long-term collaboration.
• Act as primary contact for supplier issues, ensuring timely resolution and governance across global supply chains.
• Coach procurement professionals to build sourcing capability and foster high performance.
