Job summary

BYD EUROPE is seeking a Site Acquisition Manager in Warsaw to identify and secure strategic locations for the BYD Flash Charging network across Poland and central Europe. You will own the end-to-end local site acquisition process, from market scouting and feasibility to permitting coordination and readiness for deployment.

In this role you will build relationships with landowners, municipalities, utilities, and developers, coordinate with Legal & Commercial teams, and ensure sites are scalable

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in site acquisition, real estate development, infrastructure expansion, or EV charging deployment.
• Strong experience in greenfield infrastructure development and/or acquisition of operational infrastructure assets.
• Experience evaluating or developing EV charging sites is preferred.
• Proven experience negotiating with landowners, municipalities, utilities, or commercial real estate stakeholders.
• Understanding of permitting processes, grid connection constraints, and infrastructure redevelopment.
• Commercially minded with ability to balance rapid expansion and long-term asset value.
• Fluency in English and Polish.
• Willingness to travel within the CEE region.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop a robust local pipeline of strategic sites for BYD Flash Charging.
• Lead site identification, feasibility assessment, and commercial alignment.
• Coordinate permitting processes and local approvals with authorities and partners.
• Escalate deviations and risks with the Legal & Commercial team as needed.
• Represent BYD’s long-term network expansion strategy to external stakeholders and authorities.
• Ensure site readiness and alignment with deployment timelines.
