Job summary

Konecranes in Poland seeks a Steel Structure Supervisor to join our team across multiple locations in Poland and globally. This role requires flexibility for extensive travel and frequent assignments at various sites.

The supervisor will ensure safety, quality, and alignment with drawings and specifications, while guiding subcontractors and maintaining clear communication with the project team.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the Konecranes representative on site.
• Ensuring work is done according to safety practices and laws.
• Monitoring schedules, communicating, and reporting to the project team.
• Ensuring manufacture of the product per specification and drawings.
• Ensuring the specified quality of the product is fulfilled.
• Guiding subcontractor activities.
• Assisting subcontractor in clarifying technical questions.
• Reporting progress, quality, and safety issues.
• Reporting on manufacturing non-conformance.

Due to business development, we are currently looking for a new colleague who will join our Team acting as

Steel Structure Supervisor (she/he)

The person will be working in multiple locations in Poland and globally.

This job requires flexibility due to extensive travelling.

Scope of responsibilities

• Acting as the Konecranes representative on site,
• Ensuring that the work is done according to safety practices and laws,
• Monitoring the schedules, communicating, and reporting to project team,
• Ensuring the manufacture of the product in accordance with the specification and drawings,
• Ensuring that the specified quality of the product is fulfilled,
• Guiding Subcontractor's activities,
• Assisting Subcontractor in clarifying technical questions,
• Reporting about progress of work, quality, and safety related issues,
• Reporting on manufacturing non-conformance

Qualifications

• Open to frequent business travelling in Poland and abroad (including EMEA and APAC regions)
• Mechanical Engineer degree or similar, IWE/IWI qualifications will be regarded as an asset!
• Good technical orientation in mechanical/manufacturing engineering
• English - good professional level (daily use in writing and speaking in business environment)
• Polish - communicative
• Preferably at least 2 years of experience in steel structures manufacturing,
• Proactivity and initiative in actions,
• "Can do" attitude and ability to build good relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleagues,
• Knowledge and understanding of technical drawings and documentation,
• Driving licence
