Job summary

InPost is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to raise the quality bar across our mobile app and backend domains. This hands-on technical leadership role shapes architecture for testability and reliability, and owns the quality gates that let teams release with confidence.

You'll set technical direction across multiple teams, dive deep in the codebase when needed, mentor engineers, and promote quality as an engineering and business outcome, not a post-release QA phase.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with impact across multiple teams.
• Deep ownership of quality and reliability as an engineering discipline.
• Proven shift-left experience entering the process before coding and driving improvements.
• Hands-on ability to read, review, and write production-quality code.

Responsibilities

• Set and own quality and reliability strategy across the domain from API to mobile clients.
• Mentor senior engineers and drive knowledge sharing across the organization.
• Lead AI governance in engineering including tooling, workflows and security considerations.
