Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Staff Software Engineer (IC5) to lead Kubernetes-native orchestration across large GPU clusters. You will own the technical vision, define admissions and scheduling for AI workloads, and drive reliability and scalability at scale.

You will mentor engineers, lead cross-team reviews, and establish standards that improve developer experience while solving systemic performance and fairness challenges in production.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience in distributed systems or cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in Go with track record of large-scale production systems.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes internals, CRDs, and controllers.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical vision and architecture for major portions of the platform.
• Lead cross-team architecture reviews and drive alignment across infra groups.
• Establish platform-wide standards for reliability, capacity, and developer experience.
• Mentor senior engineers and guide multi-team technical initiatives.
