Job summary

Sprout Social is seeking a Staff Software Engineer, Web to join our Front-End Engineering team. You will work closely with cross-functional partners across web, mobile, backend, and site reliability engineering, product and design, to deliver world-class user experiences.

You will write clean, scalable code, provide technical leadership, and help shape architecture. This role emphasizes mentoring teammates and driving improvements across the front-end stack, including performance optimizations

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience planning, building, and releasing web applications with frontend technologies (Angular or other major framework, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS)
• Strong expertise in TypeScript
• Fluency in agentic coding workflows (Claude Code/Codex/Cursor)
• Excellent communication and project management skills across cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Write clean, performant, and maintainable code.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to other team members.
• Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver world-class customer experiences.
• Participate in and conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and standards.
• Refactor and optimize the codebase to improve maintainability and scalability.
