Job summary

Sprout Social in Kraków is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Backend to help build, scale, and monitor our platform at a tech-giant scale with cross-functional teams spanning product, design, and operations. You’ll shape resilient systems and contribute to impactful deployments.

You’ll work with Java, Python, MySQL, NSQ, HBase, AWS, and Kubernetes to own features end-to-end, mentor teammates, and push for reliability and innovation across the stack.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of production software development experience.
• 3+ years programming in object-oriented languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
• Professional English proficiency in verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the platform is built, scaled, shipped, and monitored reliably.
• Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and implement features.
• Improve processes, systems, and tools to deliver quality products and drive technical initiatives.
• Uphold project quality and meet deadlines with proper testing and monitoring.
• Mentor other engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
