Job summary

qlub is seeking an AI Engineer to own the end-to-end loop from problem framing to agent-driven delivery in a fast-changing fintech for salons and hospitality. You will specify precise specs, orchestrate agents that build, test and ship, and verify outcomes through tests, evals and observability before production.

You’ll design agentic systems for bookings, payments and operations, work with product and partners, and ship real results from day one in a fast-moving, build-from-scratch environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience shipping production‑grade software, with a track record of doing it through AI coding agents.
• Fluency in English is a must.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
• Hands‑on experience with LLM APIs, tool calling, retrieval‑augmented generation and agentic workflows in production.

Responsibilities

• Direct AI agents to design, build and operate secure, reliable payment services for salons: checkout, deposits and no-show fees, tips and splits, refunds and settlement.
• Own integrations with salon management and booking platforms, payment providers and third‑party systems via agents.
• Write specs, acceptance criteria, test suites and evals that define done, so agent output is verified by evidence.
• Design and run the agentic development workflow: agents, prompts, context, checks, merges and deployments.
• Build AI-powered products for salons and internal teams using retrieval, tool calling and controlled actions.
