Job summary

CoreWeave is the essential cloud for AI, offering a Kubernetes-native substrate to manage massive AI workloads across global GPU clusters. We seek a Staff Software Engineer, Cluster Orch (Non SUNK), to own the technical vision and drive reliability, scalability, and developer experience across the platform.

You will mentor engineers, lead cross-team architecture reviews, and define standards for admission, scheduling, and governance of AI workloads using Kueue, Volcano, and Ray.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture reviews and set platform-wide standards for reliability and capacity management.
• Define how AI workloads are admitted, scheduled, and governed across large GPU clusters.
• Drive performance, scalability, and fairness improvements at scale in the orchestration stack.
• Mentor senior engineers and align across infrastructure, CKS, and managed inference teams.
