Job summary

HelloFresh in Warsaw, within HelloTech, is seeking a Staff Backend Engineer to help shape the Customer Plans domain. You will own backend architecture and lead cross-team initiatives, driving scalable, reliable systems while mentoring engineers in a fast-paced, product-led environment.

You will adopt AI-powered tooling, collaborate with senior stakeholders across international teams, and ship impactful features that improve the end-to-end customer experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience with microservices and distributed event-driven patterns.
• Expert-level proficiency in Go or JVM languages.
• Extensive experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and set technical strategy for complex microservices systems across teams.
• Lead technical decisions and architectural reviews for scalability, reliability, and maintainability of Plans domain.
