You will work with product teams to ship reusable platform services, ensure reliability, observability, and safe defaults, and mentor engineers while shaping technical direction. Candidates should bring 10+ years in backend/platform engineering, strong Python, and experience with

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on engineering experience, typically 10+ years.
• Strong backend/platform engineering depth with production systems.
• Proven experience building and shipping production-grade AI/LLM systems.
• Proficiency in Python and backend service stacks for production APIs.
• Deep understanding of API design, reliability, and observability.

Responsibilities

• Write production code for core AI platform services and APIs.
• Build reusable AI platform capabilities (chat APIs, RAG, summarization).
• Create production-ready orchestration patterns for retrieval and tool use.
• Review PRs, debug production issues, and balance tradeoffs.
• Mentor engineers and help shape platform best practices.
