Dotlinkers is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to own the backend systems powering AI image and video generation. You will build reliable services for asynchronous jobs, queues, retries, and scalable workflows, with emphasis on performance and reliability.

This backend-focused role excludes frontend work and emphasizes observability, testing, CI/CD, and deployment pace as the product grows; it is fully remote with an international team and periodic offsites.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in backend software engineering.
• Strong experience with Go and PostgreSQL.
• Experience building and operating production backend systems.
• Good understanding of asynchronous processing, job queues, workers, retries, and idempotency.
• Experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, performance optimisation, and production incidents.
• Familiarity with automated testing, CI/CD, and safe deployment practices.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain backend services and APIs that support AI character creation and image and video generation.
• Design data models and backend architecture that can support a growing product and increasing workloads.
• Develop reliable background processing workflows, including queues, retries, and error handling.
• Make sure generation jobs run safely and efficiently, avoiding duplicate processing and unnecessary costs.
• Improve automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes to make deployments safer.
• Monitor production systems, investigate incidents, and improve performance, reliability, and observability.
• Take ownership of the systems you build and help improve their architecture as the platform evolves.
