Job summary

Sabre, Kraków hybrid, is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to design, build, and automate deployment pipelines on cloud-native infrastructure. You will enhance observability, reliability, and security across Kubernetes-based environments while collaborating with software teams to improve operational readiness.

You will implement IaC in GCP, manage Terraform configurations, and use GitHub/GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation. Strong troubleshooting and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-native architectures.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, and containerized application deployments.
• Experience with Terraform, GitHub, and GitHub Actions for infrastructure management and CI/CD automation.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills with a passion for automation and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and continuously improve deployment automation and CI/CD platforms that enable fast, reliable, and secure software delivery.
• Develop and maintain cloud-native infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform using Infrastructure as Code practices and automation-first principles.
• Build and enhance observability capabilities, including monitoring, logging, alerting, dashboards, SLI/SLO definitions, and reliability reporting.
• Partner with Software Engineering teams to improve application reliability, scalability, security, and operational readiness across Kubernetes-based environments.
• Drive operational excellence through incident response, root cause analysis, reliability improvements, capacity planning, and proactive automation initiatives.
