Job summary

Sabre Corporation in Kraków is seeking a Manager of Site Reliability Engineering to lead a team responsible for availability, performance, and reliability of Sabre Web Services. You will drive modernization, incident response, and automation across Sabre’s API gateway ecosystem to serve global customers.

The role requires leadership experience, strong cloud/SRE expertise, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Hybrid work arrangement in Kraków with competitive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 2+ years of people leadership experience, including managing engineers and setting priorities.
• Experience maintaining or operating large-scale distributed systems in cloud environments.
• Understanding observability, monitoring, alerting, incident management, capacity planning, and reliability engineering.
• Practical experience leveraging automation, analytics, AI-assisted tooling, or generative AI solutions to improve operational effectiveness.
• Fluent English, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Site Reliability Engineers, providing coaching, performance management, and career development.
• Drive service reliability, availability, scalability, and operational excellence across production systems.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, Architecture, and Infrastructure to set and achieve SLOs and targets.
• Lead major incident response, postmortems, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement programs.
• Promote automation, AI-enabled operations, self-healing capabilities, and platform engineering practices.
