Job summary

Sabre Corporation in Kraków is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to strengthen real-time authentication systems in a hybrid work setting (3 days in office). You will work on cloud-native architectures using GCP, GKE, and ABAC, delivering reliable, scalable services with strong incident management and agile practices.

The role requires 5+ years in related work, Linux/Unix expertise, Bash or Python scripting, and IaC with Terraform/Ansible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years related experience.
• Strong Linux/Unix experience.
• Scripting abilities in Bash or Python.
• Hands-on Google Cloud Platform experience (GCE, GKE).
• Terraform or Ansible for IaC.
• Production application support with on-call rotation.
• Experience with monitoring tools (GCP Ops, Grafana).
• Change management experience.

Responsibilities

• Focus on implementing best practices for monitoring on GCP.
• Identify and work on opportunities for improvement and toil reduction (automation).
• Improve health rules and alerts for system stability.
• Handle release activities from development to production.
• Determine tools to support system health and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with multiple groups including Development and Incident Management.
• Create/review application Change Records (CRs).
• Release and deploy CRs across platforms from integration to production.
• Participate in sprint planning and iterations.
