Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc in Poland is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to support two projects on a 100% workload for an initial six-month term with potential extension. The role focuses on cloud infrastructure, automation, DevOps, and multi-cloud environments.

Responsibilities include monitoring, automating deployments, improving reliability and performance with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and Linux, and participating in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system health and performance to proactively identify and address potential issues.
• Design and implement automated solutions to streamline deployment and operational processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve system reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Participate in incident response efforts, conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
• Build and maintain infrastructure that supports high availability and fault tolerance.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational workflows and engineering practices.
• Support the planning and execution of system upgrades and migrations.
• Create and maintain documentation covering infrastructure, processes, and operational procedures.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure timely response to production issues.
