Job summary

IDEMIA Group in Łódź, Poland, is seeking a DevSecOps/SRE to design and execute a DevSecOps strategy. You will implement CI/CD pipelines, build and optimize AWS infrastructure, and automate deployments, tests, and monitoring. The role emphasizes automation, security, and collaboration across engineering teams in a hybrid setup.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Grafana/Prometheus/Loki, Linux, Bash, Docker, and Jenkins, and can coach others while driving SRE improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering CI/CD and infrastructure as code in cloud environments.
• Hands-on AWS, Linux, Bash and observability tooling (Grafana/Prometheus/Loki).
• Familiar with containerized deployments and automation practices.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement a DevSecOps strategy with CI/CD for team workflows.
• Develop AWS infrastructure and automate deployments and testing.
• Promote automated deployment, monitoring, and security across environments.
• Coach teams on best practices and document complex integrations.

Purpose

This role is responsible for developing and executing a Development Operations (DevSecOps) strategy to ensure quality software and infrastructure deployments and overall application health, security and performance.

Key Missions

• Defines and implements architectures CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment) process tailored for the team’s environment
• Develops AWS infrastructure to incorporate latest technology best practices, and improve operational performance
• Improves development, deployment and testing to make it as much automated as possible
• Supports teams by sharing knowledge and best practices (including clear documents for complex integration procedures)
• Operates and debugs complex integration processes and environments in autonomy
• Follows approach "infrastructure as code" as much as possible
• Gives training and shares best practices
• Drives improvements in SRE across all team members with strong collaboration of SRE manager
• Coaches and guides less experienced SREs
• Coaches and mentors different teams in technical areas, develop the knowledge of related technologies (monitoring, deployment, cloud tools etc.)
• Brings proactive support approach, product design review, collaboration with development team during product development
• Communicates with internal and external stakeholders during planned interventions or changes and outages

The role is based in Łódź, Poland. We are working in hybrid model with at least three visits at the office per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). If you prefer to work fully on site, our office is always open for you :)
