Job summary

Avient is seeking a Senior Accountant to support monthly close, statutory accounts, audits, and tax provision work for Poland and neighboring regions. The role will collaborate with Finance, Tax, Treasury, Legal and Business Unit teams, ensuring adherence to global accounting policies and accurate financial reporting.

The position is based in Konstantynów Łódzki or Kutno in Poland or Győr in Hungary, offering exposure to cross-country processes and multi-country compliance within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with monthly close, preparation of statutory accounts, coordinating audits, and support for tax provision/filling.
• Familiarity with global accounting policies and cross-country accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support monthly close activities for assigned entities across Poland and Hungary.
• Prepare statutory accounts and coordinate external audits.
• Support tax provision calculations and timely tax filings.
• Collaborate with Finance, Tax, Treasury, Legal, and Corporate Accounting teams.

Job description

Senior Accountant, based out of Konstantynów Łódzki or Kutno in Poland or in Győr in Hungary is a key role supporting several countries like Hungary, Chech Republic,. This role has primary responsibility for preparation and support of various aspects of the monthly close process, responsible for preparing statutory accounts, managing audits, support for tax provision and tax filling, following global accounting policies and other ad-hoc projects for the region.

This role faces several key customers as part of both daily responsibilities and as part of project teams, including Finance, Business Unit Finance, Tax, Treasury, Legal and Corporate Accounting.
