Job summary

Avient Corporation is seeking a Senior Accountant based out of Konstantynów Łódzki or Kutno in Poland or Győr in Hungary, supporting multiple countries. The role focuses on the monthly close, statutory accounts, audits, and tax provision/filling in line with global accounting policies.

The Senior Accountant will interact with Finance, Tax, Treasury and Legal teams to ensure accurate close and compliant reporting for the region and ad-hoc regional projects.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with monthly close processes.
• Ability to prepare statutory accounts and support audits.
• Experience with tax provision and filings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly close process for multiple entities across Poland, Hungary and regional entities.
• Prepare and review statutory accounts and support external audits.
• Assist with corporate tax provision, filings and adherence to global accounting policies.

Job description

Senior Accountant, based out of Konstantynów Łódzki or Kutno in Poland or in Győr in Hungary is a key role supporting several countries like Hungary, Chech Republic,. This role has primary responsibility for preparation and support of various aspects of the monthly close process, responsible for preparing statutory accounts, managing audits, support for tax provision and tax filling, following global accounting policies and other ad-hoc projects for the region.

This role faces several key customers as part of both daily responsibilities and as part of project teams, including Finance, Business Unit Finance, Tax, Treasury, Legal and Corporate Accounting.
