You will be onboarded through a structured six-month programme with dedicated mentoring from the Lead Engineer who built the function's toolset, with a clear path to independent ownership of standard bids within 4-6 months.

  • Develop control-system material lists and documentation lists for bid and execution phases
  • Translate customer purchase-order specifications and class requirements into technical specifications and costed solutions
  • Support sales teams with technical consultation, presentations and offer content across the three sales areas
  • Contribute to integration and interfacing of control systems with IAS solutions
  • Maintain and improve estimate templates, the control-system price list / catalogue and forecasting tools
  • Collaborate with prefabrication partners, component OEMs and Sourcing on demand forecasts and pricing
What you bring
  • Degree in electrical engineering, automation, control systems or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience with industrial or marine control systems (PLC-based architectures: controllers, I/O, operator stations)
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with structured data tools (Pivot tables and Power Query is a plus)
  • Interest in the commercial side of engineering - costing, bidding, customer-facing work
  • A structured, self-driven way of working; fluent English
Nice to have
  • Marine industry background; familiarity with class societies (DNV, ABS, LR, BV)
  • ATEX / IECEx and hazardous-area equipment knowledge
  • Siemens SIMATIC / TIA Portal; EPLAN
