Job summary

Lufthansa Systems Poland Sp. z o.o. in Gdańsk is seeking a Solution Architect to design scalable, cross-platform B2B solutions that power Lufthansa Group’s digital platforms.

You will collaborate with product owners, developers, and business stakeholders to turn requirements into technical solutions. You will promote architectural best practices, ensure maintainability and reuse across B2B/B2C, and support decision-making in architecture reviews.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years as a Solution Architect with design experience.
• Experience in frontend & backend development and microservice architectures.
• Strong Java & Spring or equivalent stack; JavaScript with React knowledge.
• Proven ability to work with SQL and NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve B2B solutions using existing Web, Mobile, and Cross-Platform architectures.
• Ensure scalable, reusable, and maintainable solutions integrated with multiple systems.
• Design integrations with platforms like Concur TripLink, SAP, and other B2B travel management systems.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Promote architectural best practices and reuse across B2B and B2C platforms.
• Participate in architecture reviews and support technical decision-making.

Tasks

What you’ll do:

• Design and evolve B2B solutions using existing Web, Mobile, and Cross-Platform architectures
• Ensure solutions are scalable, reusable, maintainable, and integrated with web, mobile, backend, and partner systems
• Design integrations with platforms like Concur TripLink, SAP, and other B2B travel management systems
• Work closely with product owners, developers, and business stakeholders to turn requirements into technical solutions
• Promote architectural best practices, technical consistency, and reuse across B2B and B2C platforms
• Join architecture reviews and support technical decision-making

Requirements

What you’ll bring:

• 2+ years as a Solution Architect
• Experience in frontend & backend development with strong grasp of microservice architectures in legacy environments
• Proficient in Java & Spring (or similar), JavaScript with React or cross-platform
• Experience with SQL & NoSQL databases

• Knowledge of Agentic Architecture & AI automation
• Hands-on with Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka (or similar)
• Skilled in creating architecture diagrams & documentation
• Very good English skills (C1)
• Willingness to work from our modern office in Gdańsk 2x/week

Nice to have:

• Experience with mobile solution architecture
• Understanding of mobile constraints and capabilities (iOS/Android)
• Background in building scalable, user-focused mobile apps
