Job summary

Lufthansa Systems Poland is seeking a Solution Architect to adapt and evolve architectural domains for B2B platforms, ensuring scalable and reusable solutions across Web, Mobile, and backend systems. You will translate business needs into technical designs and collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders.

You should have at least 2 years in a Solution Architect role, hands-on experience with microservices, SQL/NoSQL, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and strong English (C1).

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a Solution Architect.
• Experience in both frontend and backend software development with a solid understanding of complex, microservice-based architectures in legacy environments.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on knowledge of Agentic Architecture and AI automation.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve B2B solutions by leveraging existing architecture domains (Web, Mobile, Cross-Platform).
• Ensure scalable, reusable, and maintainable solutions integrated with web, mobile, backend, and external partner systems.
• Design integrations with platforms such as Concur TripLink, SAP, and other B2B travel management systems.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Drive architectural best practices, technical consistency, and reuse across B2B and B2C platforms.
• Participate in architecture reviews and technical decision-making.

The focus of Digital Hangar (DH) is to improve the passenger experience throughout the entire journey. Our key projects include the Lufthansa Group's (Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian, and Brussels Airlines) main web portals and mobile applications (iOS and Android). In addition, we’re developing our own R&D solutions as part of Digital Hangar initiatives.

As a Solution Architect you will be responsible for leveraging and adapting existing architectural domains to meet the needs of our business-to-business platforms. Your focus will be on reducing complexity, maximizing reusability, and ensuring that B2B solutions are seamlessly integrated with our established .com, mobile, and backend systems.

Who are you?

We are looking for a candidate with:

• At least 2 years of experience as a Solution Architect.
• Experience in both frontend and backend software development with a solid understanding of complex, microservice-based architectures in legacy environments.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Agentic Architecture and AI automatization.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and message brokers such as Kafka.
• Ability to create architectural artifacts, including diagrams and technical documentation.
• Experience working in Agile, cross‑functional teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Self‑driven, proactive mindset with the confidence to take initiative and step outside your comfort zone when needed.
• Collaborative approach, willingness to share knowledge, and openness to innovation and continuous learning.
• Good command of spoken and written English (C1).
• Willingness to work from the office in Gdańsk twice a week.
