Job summary

Claroty, a global leader in cyber-physical protection, is seeking a Software Team Leader for XSA to guide a backend team building secure remote access for critical industrial environments.

You will collaborate with Product Management and Security Researchers to implement Zero Trust, design scalable gateway architectures, and ensure robust, secure access across IT/OT networks, with emphasis on performance and resilience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience leading R&D teams in a fast-paced environment.
• 5+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong track record of building complex systems in Python.
• Deep understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/S, SSH, RDP) and security concepts (Zero Trust, Identity Management, Encryption).
• Experience building distributed, high-availability systems that handle real-time traffic and data.
• Proficiency in utilizing AI development tools (Cursor and Claude) to accelerate development workflows, code generation, and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Drive a high-performing team of developers, fostering a culture of technical ownership, security-first mindset, and continuous delivery.
• Lead the design and implementation of robust secure access features, ensuring seamless integration between IT and OT networks.
• Oversee the development of scalable, high-performance gateway and proxy architectures that support global enterprise scales.
• Work closely with Product Management and Security Researchers to implement Zero Trust principles and advanced session monitoring capabilities.
• Invest in your team’s professional growth, promoting best practices in code quality, security protocols, and system resilience.
