Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Python Application Security Engineer to automate security controls and embed secure coding practices into software development and cloud workflows.

You will engineer AI-enabled security tooling, automate secure coding patterns, and integrate SAST/DAST/SCA into CI/CD pipelines, while implementing CSPM runtime checks to maintain secure applications across environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years combining software engineering and security architecture.
• Strong Python coding for security automation and scripting.
• Experience with cloud security posture management tools (Wiz/Prisma Cloud).
• Experience implementing IaC checks (Terraform).
• Experience with CSPM runtime security checks.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and deploy AI-enabled secure code scanning capabilities.
• Automate secure coding patterns and integrate with SDLC workflows.
• Architect integration of SAST/DAST/SCA into enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement runtime security checks via CSPM for continuous visibility.
• Review and guide engineers with code-level remediation and best practices.
