Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Python Application Security Engineer to automate security controls and integrate secure coding into software development and cloud workflows. You will engineer AI-enabled secure code scanning and drive secure-from-the-start adoption.

Responsibilities include automating secure coding patterns, integrating SAST/DAST/SCA into CI/CD, and implementing CSPM runtime checks for continuous cloud security posture management. You will review complex code to guide engineers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years combining software engineering, security implementation or architecture.
• Strong Python coding for security automation.
• Experience with cloud security posture tools (Wiz/Prisma Cloud) and CSPM.
• IaC/Terraform deployment checks experience.
• Runtime checks through CSPM and secure-by-default patterns.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and deploy AI-enabled secure code scanning capabilities.
• Automate secure coding patterns and integrate with SDLC workflows.
• Architect integration of SAST/DAST/SCA into enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement runtime security checks via CSPM for cloud visibility.
• Review complex Java/Python code to provide remediation guidance.
