Duties/role
- Designing and proposing secure architecture to implement the organisation’s strategy;
- Developing the organisation’s cybersecurity architecture to address security and privacy requirements;
- Producing architectural documentation and specifications;
- Presenting high-level security architecture to stakeholders;
- Establishing a secure environment during the development life cycle of systems, services, and/or products;
- Leading the development, integration, and maintenance of cybersecurity components, ensuring cybersecurity specifications are met;
- Analysing and evaluating the cybersecurity of the organisation’s architecture;
- Assuring the security of solution architectures through security reviews;
- Collaborating with key security personnel and other teams in applying security principles within the architecture;
- Evaluating the impact of cybersecurity solutions on the design and performance of the organisation’s architecture;
- Adapting the organisation’s security architecture to emerging threats;
- Assessing the implemented architecture to maintain an appropriate level of security.
