Job summary

VECTOR SYNERGY sp. z o.o. in Warsaw, Poland, seeks an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead enterprise-wide integration and data/API architecture across public sector and EU agencies.

You will define standards, drive architecture decisions, and supervise development teams. The role requires extensive experience in SOA, integration patterns, UML/Archimate modelling, and DevSecOps, with strong communication and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years as an application architect, preferably in public sector or EU agencies.
• Experience in designing enterprise-scale integration platforms and services bus solutions.
• Strong knowledge of data and API-centric integration patterns and cloud/on-premise integration.

Responsibilities

• Set design, development, quality and testing standards for enterprise systems.
• Design database architectures, schemas, analytics platforms and BI services with governance.
• Elicit and analyze business/technical needs and translate into architectures.
• Lead architecture processes and document system artifacts throughout the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with teams to map goals, priorities and system features.
• Evaluate and select technologies; ensure security and performance.
• Model systems using Archimate and UML, maintain architecture repositories.
• Contribute to enterprise interoperability and framework adoption (TOGAF, Zachman, Azure Well-Architected).
• Communicate architecture decisions and provide presentations to stakeholders.

Job description

• Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert or equivalent
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals or equivalent
• TIBCO Certified Associate or equivalent or equivalent
• Certified SOA Architect or equivalent
• Has performed role of key architect in development of at least 1 enterprise-wide integration platform deployment ;
• A minimum of 2 years experience as an application architect, preferably in a public sector or EU agencies environment ;
• Expert in architecting of systems integration on data and API level ;
• Expert in designing enterprise level integration platform connectors, flows, and services bus solutions ;
• Expert in planning capacity and security of the integration platform capabilities
• Familiar with integration patterns, standards and models ;
• Familiar with serverless and containerisation platforms in cloud and on-premises infrastructure ;
• Holds excellent technical knowledge about integration platforms such as Tibco or Mulesoft , SOA, databases, application servers, communication middleware, web applications, cloud integration patterns, business intelligence concepts, systems integration, Software Development Lifecycle ;
• Sound knowledge of designing systems and applications in UML ;
• Familiar with DevSecOps approach ;
• Extensive experience in aligning application development with business needs ;
• Is proficient in using systems modelling tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect, Aris Architect or others ;
• Familiar with market wide designing architecture standards or frameworks such as, TOGAF, Zachman, Azure Well-Architected framework or similar ;
• Sound knowledge about hybrid systems and applications integration ;
• Ability to document effectively ;
• Experience with modelling in Archimate ;
• Experience with European Interoperability Framework or other interinstitutional frameworks ;
• Experience with applying architecture styles and patterns ;
• English level: C1 (confirmed by a certificate from a certifying institution).

• Transferring business, user and technical needs into architectures;
• Mapping business goals, project benefits, priorities, components and system features;
• Analysing available systems, applications and services;
• Identifying options for potential solutions;
• Maintaining and tracking architecture in the systems lifecycle;
• Estimating and sizing network infrastructure in accordance with system and business application requirements;
• Contributing to systems design, testing, quality assurance and change management;
• Preparing system documentation and providing presentations;
• Leading development teams and development processes;
• Selecting and evaluating technologies;
• Collecting and interpreting system metrics;
• Optimising systems from performance, security and quality perspectives;
• Contributing to the Enterprise Architecture repository and managing required artifacts .
