Job summary

Jit Team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build scalable backend services for distributed IoT and industrial systems. You will create high-performance Rust services, develop microservices architectures, and enable reliable data exchange across cloud-native environments.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement event-driven patterns with Kafka, leverage Redis caching, and deploy on Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend software development experience.
• Commercial experience with Rust.
• Strong understanding of microservice architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with Apache Kafka and Redis in production.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized apps.
• Good knowledge of REST APIs and asynchronous communication.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Fluent English communication and collaboration skills.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a project focused on developing scalable backend solutions for distributed IoT and industrial systems. You will be responsible for designing and building high-performance services that enable reliable communication, data processing, and integration across modern cloud-native environments.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to design scalable microservices, optimize system performance, and deliver reliable software that supports business-critical applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable and resilient services for processing and exchanging data across distributed systems
• Design and implement event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka
• Work with Redis for caching and high-performance data access

• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices

Expected competences and knowledge
