Job summary

Box Poland is seeking a Software Engineer III for its internal Feature Flagging Platform. You will design, develop, and scale features that power safe feature rollouts across Box products.

You will work with architects and engineers to drive implementation, contribute to technical roadmaps, and share knowledge while helping keep the platform reliable and observable. You will collaborate in an AI-first company culture, apply Linux, Kubernetes, and observability skills, and participate in on-call

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, ServiceMesh, Observability tooling, and Kubernetes.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub Enterprise, and GIT.
• Strong English proficiency - written and verbal communication skills required for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain features for Box's internal Feature Flagging Platform, ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Work closely with architects, staff engineers and across teams to introduce and adopt feature flagging mechanism across various products.
• Actively engage in team meetings, building roadmaps, carving technical vision and spreading knowledge across engineering departament.
• Play a role in developing and fostering Box culture.
• Represent Box Poland internally and externally.
• Participate in our on-call rotation, available at all times while on-call to help respond to and triage any issues that arise.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Hands-on experience with Linux, ServiceMesh, Observability tooling, and Kubernetes
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub Enterprise, and GIT
• Strong English proficiency - written and verbal communication skills required for cross-functional collaboration

Preferred skills:

• Experience with Python
• Strong algorithmic and coding fundamentals
