Box Poland is seeking a Software Engineer III to design, build, and maintain features for Box's internal Feature Flagging Platform. You will work with architects, staff engineers, and cross-functional teams to scale the flagging system, improve observability, and ensure reliable releases.

We value collaborators who communicate clearly in English, have 3+ years of software development experience, and are comfortable in agile environments with Jira/Confluence and GitHub Enterprise.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, ServiceMesh, Observability tooling, and Kubernetes.
• Strong English proficiency for cross-functional collaboration.

Box's Feature Flagging Platform is a critical piece of internal infrastructure that enables engineering teams across the company to safely ship features, run experiments, and manage rollouts at scale. As a Software Engineer III on this platform, you will be at the heart of how Box engineers build and release software - ensuring the platform is reliable, scalable, and observable.

What you'll do:

• Design, develop, and maintain features for Box's internal Feature Flagging Platform, ensuring reliability and scalability

Who you are:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Hands-on experience with Linux, ServiceMesh, Observability tooling, and Kubernetes
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub Enterprise, and GIT
• Strong English proficiency - written and verbal communication skills required for cross-functional collaboration

Preferred skills:

• Experience with Python
• Strong algorithmic and coding fundamentals

• 60% coding, fine tuning, infrastructure setup
• 10% documentation
