Job summary

Alarm.com is building a new Krakow team within EBS Sp. z o.o., focusing on customer experience across mobile apps and backend services. You will implement Android features (Kotlin/Java) and collaborate with product and design to deliver scalable, user-facing solutions.

This role expects 2+ years of software development, a CS degree, English proficiency, and experience with Android and backend C#/Java. You'll work in an office-based environment in Krakow with occasional remote work and a strong

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• B.A. or B.S. in Computer Science or similar engineering program.
• English proficiency. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience building native Android applications (Kotlin or Java).
• Exposure to backend development (C# and/or Java).
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar).
• Understanding of software engineering fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Experience with version control (Git).
• Strong interest in learning backend and Android best practices.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Contribute and Deliver: Implement Android features and backend services under guidance from senior engineers.
• Collaborate: Work closely with teammates, product managers, and designers to build user‑facing features that scale globally.
