Job summary

Hitachi ABB Power Grids in Poland is seeking a Software Asset Management intern to support daily operations, gain hands-on experience in a global IT environment, and contribute to SAM initiatives.

You will collaborate with the SAM team, help maintain policies, monitor license compliance, and assist in data exchange between SAM and IT systems. This position offers learning opportunities in governance and compliance within a multinational setting.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a university student, graduating in 2027 or later.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Motivated, ambitious, and committed, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proactive, well-organized, and detail-oriented.
• Available to work at least 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the SAM team and support daily operational activities.
• Assist in maintaining, reviewing, and developing SAM policies, processes, and procedures.
• Support the implementation and ongoing enhancement of the company's SAM strategy.
• Utilize SAM tools to monitor software license compliance and generate reports.
• Manage the collection, validation, and upload of PoE documentation into the SAM system.
• Help implement and enforce controls aligned with the Hitachi IT Control Framework.
• Ensure effective data exchange between the SAM platform and IT systems to support data enrichment, compliance tracking, and reporting.
