Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a motivated university student to join the Software Asset Management (SAM) Team in Poland as an internship. You will support daily operations and contribute to ongoing SAM initiatives in a global IT environment, gaining hands-on experience while learning essential governance and compliance practices.

You will collaborate with the SAM team, help develop policies and procedures, monitor license compliance with SAM tools, and manage PoE documentation.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a university student and expected to graduate in 2027 or later.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Motivated, ambitious, and committed with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proactive, well-organized, and detail-oriented.
• Available to work at least 30 hours per week.
• Interested in developing knowledge in Software Asset Management, IT governance, and compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Software Asset Management team and support daily operational activities.
• Assist in maintaining, reviewing, and developing Software Asset Management policies, processes, and procedures.
• Support the implementation and ongoing enhancement of the company’s Software Asset Management strategy.
• Utilize SAM tools to monitor software license compliance and generate relevant reports.
• Manage collection, validation, and upload of PoE documentation into the SAM system.
• Help implement and enforce controls aligned with the Hitachi IT Control Framework.
• Ensure effective data exchange between the SAM platform and IT systems for data enrichment, compliance tracking, and reporting.
