Job summary

Cisco Systems in Warszawa is seeking a Software Architect for Demo Platform & Automation, Cisco dCloud. In this remote-first role, you will design and implement services and libraries, drive AI-driven automation, and collaborate with multiple teams to ship reliable demos worldwide.

You will spend substantial time coding in Go and Python on Kubernetes, shaping architectural directions, and ensuring security and reliability across cloud and on-prem environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in software engineering.
• 3+ years designing distributed systems across on-premises datacenters and public cloud (e.g., AWS).
• Production development experience in Go and Python.
• Experience running containerized services on Kubernetes (e.g., EKS) with GitOps (Argo CD, Helm), CI/CD (GitHub Actions) and Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience designing APIs, SDKs or libraries used by other teams.
• Professional experience with AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor).

Responsibilities

• Code services, SDKs and libraries in Go and Python on Kubernetes.
• Build micro-frontends with AI tools in partnership with the UI team.
• Write design documents and review designs; set engineering standards.
• Maintain reliability and security of systems.
• Plan work with partner teams and content developers.
