Job summary

Capgemini is looking for a Senior Big Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain Snowflake data pipelines that support enterprise applications in a hybrid Warsaw-based team.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, optimize data models for performance, ensure data quality and security, and plan migrations from on-prem warehouses to Snowflake while exploring AI/ML solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Big Data or Cloud projects with Snowflake experience.
• Understand Snowflake pricing and cost optimization strategies.
• Experience in designing data pipelines with Snowflake or via partners.
• Knowledge of Snowflake security model.
• Experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Basic SQL and one language: Python/Scala/Java/Bash.
• Strong English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake data pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements.
• Optimize data models and schemas for performance and efficiency.
• Ensure data integrity, quality, and security throughout the data lifecycle.
• Implement monitoring and alerting systems.
