Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a seasoned data engineer to design and maintain Snowflake data pipelines powering analytics for clients across industries. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, optimize data models, ensure data quality and security, and migrate on‑prem warehouses to Snowflake while developing AI/ML solutions.

Excellent English and hands‑on Snowflake experience are essential; we offer a hybrid work setup and a rich learning environment.

Qualifications

3+ years in Big Data or Cloud projects, with hands-on Snowflake experience.
Understanding Snowflake pricing and cost optimization for resources.
Experience designing data transformation pipelines with Snowflake or via partners.
Familiarity with Snowflake’s security model.
Practical knowledge of at least one Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Basic SQL and one programming language: Python/Scala/Java/Bash.
Very good command of English.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake data pipelines to support business functions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement scalable solutions.
Optimize data models and schemas for performance and efficiency.
Ensure data integrity, quality, and security throughout the data lifecycle.
Implement monitoring and alerting systems to proactively address issues.
Plan and execute migration from on-prem data warehouses to Snowflake.
Develop AI, ML, and Generative AI solutions.
Stay updated on Snowflake best practices and emerging technologies.
