Job summary

Capgemini Polska is seeking a senior data engineer to design, build, and maintain Snowflake data pipelines across business functions. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data needs into scalable Snowflake solutions while optimizing data models for performance and cost.

The role involves implementing data security, monitoring, and migration from on-prem to Snowflake, with exposure to AWS/Azure/GCP and Python/Scala/Java.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Big Data or Cloud projects handling large/unstructured data
• Hands-on Snowflake experience (at least 1 year)
• Understanding of Snowflake pricing and cost optimization
• Experience designing data pipelines with Snowflake or partners
• Knowledge of Snowflake security model
• Public Cloud exposure: storage, compute, networking, DevOps

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake data pipelines to support various business functions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement scalable solutions
• Optimize data models and schemas for performance and efficiency
• Ensure data integrity, quality, and security throughout the data lifecycle
• Implement monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address issues
• Plan and execute migration from on-prem to Snowflake
• Develop AI, ML and Generative AI solutions
• Stay updated on Snowflake best practices and emerging technologies to drive improvement
