Job summary

Devire is assisting an international leader in innovative concrete technologies to recruit an experienced Site Manager for a major European megaproject. You will oversee complex reinforced concrete works, lead a team of five direct-report Line Managers, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule compliance on site.

The role requires strong leadership, on-site collaboration, and excellent English communication to coordinate with stakeholders across the project.

Qualifications

• Several years in a managerial role (Site Manager/Construction Manager).
• Strong hands-on experience in cast‑in‑place concrete construction.
• University degree in Civil or Construction Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage execution of complex reinforced concrete works using cast‑in‑place construction.
• Lead a team of ~5 direct-report Line Managers and supervise subcontractors.
• Oversee formwork systems and densely reinforced concrete structures.
• Direct project scheduling, budget control, and safety and quality management.
• Report to the Project Manager and Head of Structural Construction.

For our Client, an international leader in innovative concrete technologies, we are looking for an experienced Site Manager. Join the construction of one of the largest and most innovative industrial megaprojects in Europe.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in a managerial role (Site Manager / Construction Manager / Works Manager).
• Strong hands-on experience in cast-in-place (wet concrete) construction – this is a key requirement for the role.
• A university degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• Very good command of English, as it is the official language of communication on the project.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to quickly resolve technical issues on site.

Nice to have

Experience working on construction projects in Sweden or other Scandinavian countries.

Responsibilities

• Managing the execution of complex reinforced concrete works using cast-in-place (monolithic) construction technology, including heavy industrial foundations, thick concrete slabs, watertight structures, and hydraulic engineering works.
• Leading a team of approximately 5 direct-report Line Managers and providing comprehensive supervision of subcontractors.
• Operational management of advanced formwork systems and densely reinforced concrete structures.
• Responsibility for project scheduling, budget control, stringent concrete quality management, and maintaining the highest health and safety standards.
• Direct reporting to the Project Manager and the Head of Structural Construction.
