FABE POLSKA Sp. z o.o. is recruiting a Site Engineer – Bridge Works for the S17 expressway construction in the Izbica - Zamość section near Lublin.

You will oversee subcontractors, coordinate materials, and ensure compliance with contract and design documentation. The role requires a degree in construction with bridge specialization, readiness for business travel, full-time availability, and proactive, reliable performance.

Qualifications

• Higher education in construction with bridge specialization preferred.
• Proven reliability and ability to work under time pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating material, equipment and service orders with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Verifying works invoices and issuing settlement protocols.
• Cooperating with Works Manager and Construction Manager.
• Assisting in supervising works per contract requirements and design docs.
• Verifying costs of works and construction services.
• Maintaining registers and reports as required by the department.
• Cooperating with client, suppliers, subcontractors and contract management.
• Negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers.

Job description

FABE POLSKA Sp. z o.o., specializing in road and highway construction, is recruiting a Site Engineer – Bridge Works for the S17 expressway construction project on the Izbica - Zamość section in Lublin Voivodeship.

Responsibilities

• Controlling settlements with subcontractors, suppliers and service providers, and coordinating orders for materials, equipment and services
• Verifying sales of works, participating in issuing settlement protocols
• Direct cooperation with the Works Manager and the Construction Manager
• Supporting the Works Manager in supervising works based on contract requirements and design documentation, including supervision of selected subcontractors
• Verifying the costs of works and construction services
• Maintaining registers and reports as required by the department
• Cooperating with the client, suppliers, subcontractors and contract management
• Participating in negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers

Requirements

• Higher education – construction with a bridge specialization preferred
• Experience in a similar position welcome
• Computer skills, AutoCAD, MS Excel and Office; knowledge of scheduling software welcome
• Full availability (full-time), readiness for business travel
• High commitment and initiative in performing assigned duties
• Diligence, responsibility, punctuality, ability to work under time pressure
• Driving license category B
