Job summary

FABE POLSKA Sp. z o.o., a civil engineering company, is seeking a Cost Control and Scheduling Engineer for the S17 expressway project Izbica - Zamość section in Lublin Voivodeship. The role focuses on cost control, scheduling (HRF) and verification of designs, contracts and subcontractor settlements.

You will use Primavera or MS Project, Excel, and related tools to prepare and update cost estimates, HRF and progress reports, supporting the project teams in valuing works and services.

Qualifications

• Higher education in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in road investment projects.
• Knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD, Excel software.
• Knowledge of construction law.
• Full availability.
• Driving license category B.

Responsibilities

• Cost control and optimization.
• Preparing Physical and Financial Schedules (HRF) for investments, including annexes/changes.
• Verifying the work schedule using Primavera and/or Microsoft Project, Excel.
• Verifying design drawings and quantity calculations.
• Verifying contract specifications.
• Verifying contractor valuations and HRF for additional, supplementary orders, substitute works and others.
• Preparing cost estimates, calculations and analyses of quantity and cost estimates.
• Updating completed works, including with the use of daily reports.
• Controlling settlements with subcontractors, suppliers and service providers.
• Verifying sales of works and actual direct costs.
• Supporting project teams in estimating the value of construction works and services related to the investment.
• Verifying estimated order values in public procurement proceedings.
• Cooperation with other departments on valuations of works and construction services related to the investment.
• Participating in negotiations with contractors regarding claims.
