Job summary

nVent is seeking an EHS professional to coordinate the development and maintenance of an effective Environmental, Health & Safety Management System in Poland. You will act as an EHS advisor to management, coordinate activities with the line organization, and Secretary the EHS Committee.

You will lead assessments, advise on regulatory compliance, and define training needs to strengthen EHS practices across the site in Dzierżoniów. Fluency in Polish and English is required.

Qualifications

• Interest in EHS and protecting people and environment.
• 5+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Self-management with initiative, planning and problem solving.
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication.
• Fluent in Polish and English (spoken and written).
• Computer skills: MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on development and implementation of EHS standards and management systems.
• Raise EHS awareness and promote a safe culture throughout the workforce.
• Develop, maintain and promote EHS policies, standards and procedures to prevent loss.
• Conduct EHS assessments, inspections and audits; report to the line organization.
• Advise on compliance with EHS regulations and Company policies.
• Support management in EHS hazard and risk assessment and controls.
• Define EHS training needs and coordinate training implementation.

Coordinate the development and maintenance of an effective Environmental, Health & Safety Management System for the company, which align with applicable local legislative regulations and requirements. JOB LOCATION: HOFFMAN SCHROFF POLAND, Dzierżoniów

Position Summary

• Provide technical guidance & consultation on development and implementation of EHS standards, programs and management systems.
• Assist the line organization build good EHS awareness, attitude and value throughout the workforce.
• Developing, maintaining and promoting EHS policies, standards, procedures and rules to prevent loss.
• Conduct system EHS assessment (inspections/audits), report accordingly to the line organization.
• Advise on compliance and implementation of relevant EHS legislative regulations & requirements, and Company EHS policies, standards and initiatives.
• Support management, in the conduct and maintenance of EHS hazard & risk assessment, to identify existing EHS hazards and risks, and work with the management to put in place the required controls.
• Define EHS training needs and co-ordinate the implementation of needed training

Qualifications And Experience

• Have sincere interest in EHS, in the protection of people & environment and loss prevention.
• 5+ years work experience in the manufacturing environment.
• Strongly able to self manage with good initiative, able to plan & organize, resolve problems, handle pressure and have good working attitude.
• Strong interpersonal skill, ability to communicate and interact effectively with team members and people.
• Fluent Polish & English (both spoken & written).
• Computer skills: MS Excel, Power Point

Pay Transparency

nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance.

Monthly Gross Compensation Range

zł9,583.30 - zł19,966.70 Per Month

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual or long-term incentives.
