Job summary

nVent in Poland seeks a quality professional to represent the Quality function, build customer trust, and ensure processes meet stringent standards across manufacturing, engineering, and suppliers.

You will lead defect reduction, manage NCRs and external issues, and support APQP activities for new launches with PFMEA/Control Plans/GR&R/FAI. Fluency in Polish and English is required, with 5+ years of experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or quality-related processes.
• Experience leading technical or production teams in manufacturing.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

• Represent the Quality function and serve as the primary liaison for customers, building strong relationships and confidence in our processes.
• Engage with customers at multiple organizational levels, proactively addressing concerns and aligning on quality expectations.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across manufacturing, engineering, operations, and suppliers, both within and outside the organization.
• Support production teams in ensuring that high-quality, compliant products are consistently delivered in accordance with established processes.
• Lead and participate in defect reduction initiatives, ensuring timely disposition of nonconformities and implementation of corrective actions.
• Manage internal Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and external quality issues, including customer complaints, from identification through resolution.
• Evaluate suspect or nonconforming materials, working with cross-functional teams to quickly diagnose issues and implement effective corrective actions.
• Lead quality problem-solving efforts methodologies, including containment actions, root cause analysis, and sustainable corrective actions.
• Support Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities for new product launches, including PFMEAs, Control Plans, GR&R studies, Capability Studies, and First Article Inspections (FAI).

YOU HAVE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).
• Fluent Polish, English - B2
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing or quality-related processes.
• Experience leading technical or production teams in a manufacturing or operational environment.
• Quality certifications such as APQP-PPAP, and ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor training are highly preferred.
• Experience in process improvement, planning, Six Sigma methodologies, Lean Manufacturing, and quality systems.
• Experience using optical, multi-sensor, and scanning inspection equipment (preferred).
• Experience supporting quality initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites simultaneously (preferred).
• Regular reporting of quality data and performance metrics.
• Creation and maintenance of quality and production work instructions.
• Knowledge of quality methodologies and problem-solving tools, including 8D, RCCM, Ishikawa (Fishbone Diagram), A3, and others.
• Knowledge of PFMEA methodology, including Process Flow Charts, Control Plans, and Checklists.
• Strong analytical skills, ability to work independently and make decisions, as well as excellent communication skills.

nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance.

Monthly Gross Compensation Range: zł7,833.30 - zł16,191.70 Per Month Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual or long-term incentives.
