Job summary

nVent is seeking a Quality Technician for on-site work in Dzierzoniow, Poland. You will perform process validations, in-process inspections, and monitor manufacturing quality while supporting cross-functional teams across Operations, Design, and Quality.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years in quality/manufacturing, CAD experience, and knowledge of IMS/ISO standards. Strong Polish and English communication skills are essential for daily collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Read schematics, drawings, and process documentation; GD&T knowledge is a plus.
• English skills required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality or manufacturing environment.
• CAD experience.
• Experience with Integrated Management Systems (IMS) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead problem-solving activities related to products and manufacturing processes with support from the Quality Engineer.
• Perform process validations, in-process inspections, and monitor/analyze quality of processes and products.
• Support design, manufacturing, and quality teams in data collection, analysis, product reviews, and process capability assessments.
• Understand and develop processes aligned with QMS objectives; train others on QMS requirements and standards.
• Conduct internal ISO audits and support audits in designated areas.
• Prepare First Article Inspection (FAI) reports for customer and internal use.
• Select and use measurement tools to verify dimensional and functional requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, Quality, Customer Service, Production Planning, and Logistics.
• Lead or support activities to maintain calibration status of inspection/testing/measurement equipment.
• Perform other quality-related duties as assigned.
