AgileEngine, LLC. is building a strategic Shopify practice and proactively seeking a Shopify professional to lead our e-commerce initiatives. This role blends technical leadership, client consultation, and growth, guiding teams through implementations and mentoring developers.

You will collaborate with sales on pre-sales, translate client goals into roadmaps, stay up-to-date with Shopify updates, and contribute to the broader e-commerce roadmap in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in e-commerce delivering large-scale solutions.
• Experience leading development teams and mentoring developers.
• Translate business goals into technical roadmaps and communicate with stakeholders.
• Experience supporting sales conversations, scoping projects and growth opportunities.
• Strong communication, organization and remote collaboration skills.
• High proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Architect and oversee Shopify stores, applications and integrations end-to-end.
• Drive scalable, secure solutions; establish coding standards and proofs of concept.
• Lead small engagements; mentor developers during projects.
• Serve as primary contact for client portfolio; translate goals to roadmaps.
• Provide guidance on conversion, UX, SEO, performance.
• Participate in discovery calls; scope projects and upsell opportunities.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and marketers to align tech with business.
• Ensure designs meet performance, SEO and CRO best practices.
• Stay current with Shopify updates, headless frameworks and integrations.
• Champion engineering excellence and contribute to ecommerce roadmap.
