AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Shopify Practice Lead to build and lead our e-commerce practice.

You will guide teams through Shopify implementations, mentor developers, and partner with sales on pre-sales calls to turn Shopify into a growth engine in a remote-first setting. The role requires 5+ years in e-commerce, proven leadership, and the ability to translate business goals into technical roadmaps while communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in e-commerce.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale solutions and measurable conversion improvements.
• Experience leading development teams, conducting code reviews, and mentoring developers.
• Ability to translate business goals into technical roadmaps and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience supporting sales conversations, scoping projects, and identifying growth opportunities.
• Strong communication, organization, and remote collaboration skills.
• High proficiency in English.
• Availability to support consulting, team leadership, and part-time project involvement based on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead Shopify-driven solutions, guiding e-commerce projects end-to-end.
• Mentor developers, establish best practices, and manage project scoping.
• Collaborate with sales to drive pre-sales efforts and define technical roadmaps.
• Provide strategic guidance on UX/UI, SEO, and CRO for client sites.
• Stay updated with Shopify updates, headless approaches, and integrations.
